Admin Assistant

Required October 2016
Grade 5 Points 14 - 17 (Currently £8.54 to £9.10 per hour)
Two days per week, 14.5 hours per week, term time only

Closing Date: Thursday 6th October 2016, 12 noon
Interviews: w/c 10th October

We wish to appoint an Administrative Assistant for two days per week, Monday and Tuesday from 8.15 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. The successful candidate will be computer literate, have an excellent telephone manner and good numeracy and literacy skills to enable them to provide general clerical and finance support. He/she will join a friendly and hardworking administration team who are committed to providing an excellent service to the school.

Grade 6 Points 18-21 (Currently £9.27 to £10.34 per hour)
Part time 26.67 hours per week Term Time only

Closing Date: Thursday 6th October, 2016 at 12 noon

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join the classroom staff of our Outstanding School. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising students during short term absence of teaching staff. This will involve supervision of students whilst they complete work set by the teaching staff.

GCSE Results 2016

Year 11 Students at Belvidere School in Shrewsbury are celebrating another year of excellent GCSE results, at least matching and in many areas exceeding the excellent results in 2015.

Headteacher Pete Johnstone said "We are delighted that our students have again been rewarded for all their hard work with another set of fantastic results. The students have been a pleasure to work with, and they have been supported as always by the tireless efforts of our outstanding staff team."

Young Innovator Awards

Young Innovator is designed for ages 11-19 where students have to design a robot that could solve a problem.
Rowan designed a robot called ‘Marvin’. Marvin is a mountain rescue robot.


Rowan Caddick was a runner up in the Best Male category

Faraday Challenge

Belvidere year 7 teams' success  at a local
IET Faraday Challenge

IET Faraday Challenge Days give students the opportunity to research, design and make prototype solutions to genuinely tough engineering problems. The winners of each local event win a prize for each team member and a trophy for the school. The top teams from across the UK will be invited to showcase their ideas at an event in July.
