House Competition
House Competitions are a well-loved competitive element to school life, and one that we encourage all of our school community to contribute towards. A spirit of healthy competition is central to the House system. Students compete in a series of House competitions and challenges during the year. Points are awarded for participation and success in these events and are added to the tally of individual points awarded for excellent work or helpful behaviour. The winning House overall last year was Ludlow!
Last year, we were delighted to have members of our alumni and local business community involved in launching, judging and awarding prizes for our House competitions. This year, our House Captains are going to take leadership over the competition themes, and we hope to continue including our Wider Community in these as much as possible. A key focus is to develop employability skills, in particular creativity and teamwork, and for the whole school to get involved in a shared goal.
